Dear Parents & Well Wishers,
It has always been our endeavour to come up with new things in the school. These steps which we finally find to be trend-setters, are taken keeping into consideration the feedback obtained from all of you. I would take this opportunity to brief you all about some of these path-breaking steps :
· Adarsh School, Kirti Nagar was one of the first schools to take the bold step of banning students from driving motor vehicles even if the students hold a valid driving license. A number of schools are following this now.
· Adarsh School, Kirti Nagar became the first school to withdraw Canteen facilities keeping in view the health of children, which gets affected by the junk food & cold-drinks served therein. A number of schools have started following us.
· Monthly Magazine “Yugaantar” was brought out by Adarsh School, Kirti Nagar as a four page leaflet & now the result of our hardworking staff is placed in your hands with 16 pages. We wish that this year we will be able to add more pages with your help & co-operation.
· The use of mobile phones was strictly banned within the school premises even for teachers as it was proving to be a distraction.
· Two years ago, Adarsh School, Kirti Nagar again took one step forward by implementing the concept of “Funday” for the primary classes. Some parents even called this a waste of time but the latest feedback from the parents & students show that every one is really happy with this novel step.
This year, our school went ahead & abolished the Examinations system for classes upto class VIII. Monthly Assignment system will be followed henceforth.
